Christopher Morton is Deputy Director and Head of Curatorial, Research, and Teaching at the Pitt Rivers Museum, as well as Associate Professor of Visual Anthropology at the University of Oxford, and current Vice-Principal of Linacre College. Chris trained in History at UEA before undertaking MSt and DPhil studies in Social and Cultural Anthropology at St Antony’s College, Oxford, between 1995 and 2002, during which time he conducted long-term fieldwork in Botswana. Chris is currently the Principal Investigator for the major AHRC-funded research project Making the Museum.
